STMC Student Council
Eligible Students: Students that are elected by their school peers as well as designated members.
Moderators: Mr. Mitchell, Ms. Lewis, Mr. Elliot
Meetings: Thursday at Lunch, Room 115
The STMC student council is a student government organization run by those students elected to leadership roles by their classmates. The main task of the council is to represent the student body with regard to school activities and programs. The student council is led by a board of senior students which includes; the Chancellor, Co-Chancellor, Treasurer, Clubs representative and Sports Representative. Council is also required to have a Grade level representative from each Grade in the school (8, 9, 10, 11 also). It is their duty to govern meetings and run activities keeping in mind the interests of all students at St. Thomas More Collegiate.
Activities throughout the year:
Grade 8 Orientation and Knighting, Pep Rallies, School Dances, Spirit week and Greek Olympics, Grade 8-12 Mixer, Christmas Spirit Week
Our first dance of the year is not far away!
When- Friday, October 30th 7:30-10:30 (DOORS CLOSE at 8:30!!)
Where- STM Gym
Why-Because that\\\'s what we do at STM! Come with friends, dance the night away and have fun!
Congratulations goes out to "Knights of the Roxbury" who won last weeks elections and will be YOUR student council team for 2009-2010!! Thanks to all the teams who ran and here are the members that will be representing you next year.
