STMC Alumni
The STMC senior girls' Curling Team competed in the BC's on Feb. 4-6 in Chilliwack. They are the first STMC team to ever qualify for the BC's. Although the results could have been better, they did emerge as the top Independent School team in the province. The team members are Alexandra Bradshaw, Alyssa DeSimone, Jessica Angulo, Cayanne Coghlin and Tatiana Banden. The team could not have achieved such lofty heights were it not for the guidanced provided by the alumni coaching staff. They are Adam Grossi, Titus Joel, Mihai Cristea and Mark Bradshaw (all from the class of 2006) and Tysha Donnelly (grad of 2008).The curling program would not be operating without their support. Next year looks promising again as we have two more junior teams who have been groomed the past few years by our awesome alumni coaches!
