The 11th Annual Greater Knight Open Alumni Golf Tourney 

                                                June 5th, 2010

St. Thomas More celebrates its 50th year of existence in 2010.  The Greater Knight Open Golf Tourney has been a popular fixture on the calendar for 11 of those 50 years.  This year the GKO will take place on June 5th at the Golden Eagle Golf Club in Pitt Meadows. 

Last year through events like the GKO, St. Thomas More Collegiate’s Alumni Association was able to contribute over $12,000.00 to the school.  Last year we put money toward athletics by hosting senior nights and offsetting the transportation costs associated with sending our highly successful sports teams to out-of-town provincial championships.  We have supported alumni on mission trips overseas and bought 7 laptop computers for school use.  We also continue to fund the annual Knights of Old Scholarship for graduating seniors. The current STMC students fully appreciate the support they receive through the generosity of our alumni.

 The GKO’s value as a fundraiser is immeasurable; however, its greatest value is that it builds community.  It represents a chance to meet old friends, swing some clubs and support St. Thomas More Collegiate at the same time.  It doesn’t get any better than that.  Your continued support, whether it be as a golfer, a prize donor, a hole sponsor or in all three ways, is very much appreciated.  Please find all the appropriate forms by hitting the "Downloads" link to the left of this page.
